Mount St. Mary’s strong shooting snapped the Robert Morris Colonials brief three-game winning streak in a 70-49 rout at Knott Arena in Emmitsburg, Md.

The Colonials are now back at 10 games under .500 (6-16) on the season and sit at 4-5 against Norheast Conference opponents.  The NEC-leading Mountaineers are 7-2 in conference play and 10-12

Robert Morris‬ shot just 24 percent in the second half and Cane Broome scored a career-high 33 points to help lift Sacred Heart to a 69-65 win over the ‪Colonials on Saturday.

In dropping their third consecutive game, the Colonials slipped to 2-12 overall and 0-1 in the league, while the Pioneers snapped a 10-game slide and improved to 2-10 overall and 1-0 in the NEC.

In what has been a disappointing season thus far, Robert Morris traveled to Athens, Ga., to take on the Georgia Bulldogs in search of a signature win during the last game of 2015.
